Code of Ethics
In order to provide quality and professional service to the public, all members of the International Association of Mold Remediation Specialists commit themselves to the following principles and rules of conduct:
I. We will strive to provide quality mold mitigation and remediation services to our clients.
II. We commit to ongoing education and professional development in this field.
III. We will provide our clients with true descriptions of our qualifications and our services.
IV. We will fully disclose charges for services, and will provide only necessary and desired services to our clients.
V. On all of our projects, we will maintain insurance of a type and in a sufficient amount to cover any reasonable foreseeable hazard.
VI. When circumstances call for work to be done which we are unable to perform, we will, whenever possible, refer our clients to others who possess the skills and equipment necessary to perform those tasks.
VII. We will require that all our employees and subcontractors conduct mold remediation in a accordance with IAMRS guidelines and this Code of Ethics.
